# Protocol Overview

Hakifi is a next-generation on-chain trading platform built on Monad, focused on delivering a unified experience across Swap Aggregation and Perpetual (Perp) Trading - with a growing suite of companion products such as DefAI Agents, Smart Trading, and new primitives like RCoin.<br>

Instead of being “just a DEX” or “just a perp exchange,” Hakifi is designed as a Trading Hub: users can discover the best execution route for swaps, trade perps with deep liquidity and strong risk controls, and automate strategies through AI-driven and rule-based tooling—all in one ecosystem.

On-chain traders today face fragmented liquidity and fragmented tools:
